Individual members
More than 11,000 auditors, tax and fiduciary experts and around 800 companies managed by them form the strong network of EXPERTsuisse. With their expertise, they support companies that together account for more than two thirds of Switzerland's economic output.
Types of membership
Expert individual member
Both FAOA-approved audit experts and persons with a diploma as a Swiss certified auditor, tax expert, fiduciary expert or expert in accounting and controlling are admitted as individual expert members. Comparable foreign diplomas are also recognized.
Qualified employee individual members
Individuals who are either licensed as auditors by the FAOA or have a federal certificate, a bachelor's degree or equivalent training can be accepted as individual specialist members.
Alumni
Alumni are individual expert members who are no longer active in the auditing, fiduciary or financial sector.

Discounts for EXPERTsuisse's own and third-party publications
Individual members have access to the complete EXPERTsuisse publication series. Selected third-party securities are also available at reduced rates. You can find all available publications in our webshop.
EXPERT FOCUS
Expert individual members receive the specialist magazine "EXPERT FOCUS" six times a year free of charge in printed form (regular subscription price: CHF 195). You can also access the digital edition and the complete archive of previous years.
Individual members of specialist staff and alumni receive free access to the digital edition and can purchase an annual subscription to the print version at a special price of CHF 50 via the online store.
Expert network
EXPERTsuisse represents the interests of its members vis-à-vis politicians, authorities and the public - both in general and in specific specialist matters. As a member, you are part of a lively network, take part in exclusive events such as conferences and forums and contribute your specialist expertise effectively to specialist commissions and working groups.

Rights & obligations
Obligation to provide further training and quality promise
Individual expert members of EXPERTsuisse undertake to undergo continuous professional development, which is documented annually in the user portal. EXPERTsuisse checks compliance with this obligation and may impose appropriate sanctions in the event of non-compliance. Detailed information can be found in the fact sheets and guidelines.
Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct
Members are obliged to comply with the Articles of Association and all other EXPERTsuisse regulations.
Transparency and current member profile
Members are obliged to ensure that EXPERTsuisse has all the necessary information and that their personal data in the user portal is up to date.
EXPERTsuisse quality label
Member companies and individual expert members are entitled to use the EXPERTsuisse quality label if they meet the quality requirements - including the obligation to undergo further training.
What you should know
Individual members who are employed by a member company of EXPERTsuisse are exempt from paying the private membership fee.
Please note that: The termination of your employment relationship with a member company does not automatically lead to the termination of your personal individual membership. This will remain active and you will receive a personal contribution invoice in future.
- Expert individual members: Persons with an industry-relevant federal expert diploma or auditing experts.
- Individual members of specialist staff: Persons with at least a professional certificate or Bachelor's degree.
- Alumni: Former individual expert members who are no longer active in the industry.
Certified experts in accounting and controlling can become individual expert members of EXPERTsuisse. EXPERTsuisse is actively involved in the further development and positioning of this profession within the industry. The relevant training is provided by our dialog partner, the Controller Academy.
