The association’s general meeting determines the guidelines for the association’s policy. The steering committee brings together the perspectives of all member areas, sections and companies. EXPERTsuisse’s strategic management is handled by the steering committee. The operating company is wholly owned by the association.

The specialist committees deal with specific topics arising from practice. The specialist strategic committees prepare issues relating to the industry and professional policy in a targeted manner.

The Executive Board makes key decisions on industry-specific and professional policy issues. It elects the members of the Board Committee. By virtue of their office, the section presidents, the presidents of the relevant specialist areas and the CEOs of the five largest member companies are represented on the Board. The other members are appointed by the General Meeting of the Association.

The Board Committee is responsible for the strategic direction of the EXPERTsuisse Association and monitors its operational activities. Its members are elected by the Board of Directors.

The Membership Commission is made up of the section presidents of the 13 sections. Members of the Membership Committee are members of the Board of Directors by virtue of their office. Applications for admission and reallocation of membership must be submitted to the EXPERTsuisse office; the Membership Committee decides four times a year whether to approve or reject them.

The Professional Ethics Committee examines violations of the principles of the Code of Professional Conduct and Rules of Professional Conduct by EXPERTsuisse members.
